Sales Manager / Sales Team Leader (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the full range of tasks in the following areas:

  • You will have overall operational responsibility for your assigned area with regard to personnel, budget, and results.
  • You will develop your area based on the company strategy with regard to further growth, markets, and products – in line with a modern business development approach:
    • You will create strategies for growth
    • You will identify opportunities
    • You will develop new business areas
    • You will further develop products and services
    • You will cultivate customer relationships
  • You will lead and develop your team of 36 employees (7 departments, 30 employees in internal sales, 6 employees in external sales)
  • You will strategically coordinate our international sales offices and partners and provide operational and marketing support
  • You will provide personal and individualized support to key accounts throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • You optimize all sales processes (e.g., organizational structure and workflows, process digitization and automation, LEAN)
  • You participate in and lead your own projects, primarily focused on product innovation
  • You attend strategy meetings and international trade fairs
  • You report to the Managing Director

Your qualifications:

  • Completed degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, (Secondary) Raw Materials Processing, or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in leading and motivating employees in national and international sales
  • Several years of experience in a comparable/similar management position at a capital goods manufacturer in an international market
  • Experience in medium-sized businesses and/or in an owner-managed company or a company with a medium-sized structure is advantageous
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and strategic, passionate sales professional, honest and straightforward character; eloquent, strong social and intercultural skills, excellent communicator, solution-oriented, team player, pragmatic, approachable, positive, and humorous
